New Year’s Day has passed, but it’s not too late to add a new resolution to your year! There are many benefits to taking part and getting involved in your local community, including meeting new people and experiencing new things. Ancestry Workshop
A workshop at a local library in Erin, ON, that will help you learn the basics of researching and navigating the Ancestry Library Edition to get started on your genealogy research! The event takes place at the Hillsburgh Library, located at 98B Trafalgar Rd., Erin ON, N0B 1Z0. The event runs from Tuesday, 16 January at 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

Free Skating in Brockton
A community sponsored event, Free Skating in Brockton began 1 October 2017 and has been running ever since. The event is taking place at the Walkerton Community Centre, located at 290 Durham St. W., Walkerton OH, N0G 2V0. The next event will occur on Saturday, 20 January from 1:00 to 1:50 PM. There is no charge for anyone that participates.

Winterfest Weekend 2018
Winterfest Weekend is back, and it has a ton to offer. Occurring Friday, 2 February 2018 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM, and lasts until Sunday, 2 February 2018. The event will be taking place in various places around Goderich ON, N7A 1M5, with a variety of winter activities. Some of these activities may require admission, and many of them are free for all ages.
